Update on RSMS for Perth Region and new Western Australian Occupation list.
New applications to certify positions for the Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme are being accepted for the following regions in Western Australia:
- Gascoyne;
- Great Southern;
- Kimberley;
- Mid West;
- Peel;
- Pilbara;
- South West; and
Perth Region remains suspended at this stage. It is under review and state migration is not able to receive any RCB application for Perth region until further update.
Western Australian state has published WASMOL list today with only 21 occupations. New applications are being accepted on occupations mentioned below. We have contacted state migration and according to them, they will update the occupation which is expected to complete and operational in late May 2017.
All applications received before suspension of the program on 13 March 2017 will be processed according to the criteria that were in place prior to this date. Invitations issued to intending migrants before 13 March will be honoured and their applications processed.
